Connie & Sue (1935)
Here are two sisters, Connie, age 1, and Sue, age 7, of Missouri, both born club-footed, their feet so badly deformed they could not walk until the Capper Foundation had them straightened. A letter from their grandmother tells of the wonderful change brought about in the girls. The “dime shower” to help other little unfortunates as these two were, is still open. A dime for every member of the family, as a thank offering for health, is the plan.
