For fourteen years, Capper Foundation has hosted the adaptive recreation program, iCan Bike, to teach children and adults with disabilities to ride a two-wheeled bicycle in a week.

So what is the next step to accompany their new independence?

The Finale is designed in partnership with local bike enthusiasts and instructors, to teach bicycle safety practices so new riders can ride with their family and friends on public sidewalks and streets. The event, held at Gage Park, includes safe riding instruction and techniques and allows the new riders to practice riding along with their family on designated and monitored routes in the park.

Each rider must bring their bicycle/helmet and be accompanied by an adult capable of running or riding with them at all times to participate. Capper Foundation will not be providing personal route buddies.

Lunch and games will also be provided.

Date: June 15, 2024 | Time: 10 am - 12 pm | Where: Gage Park Adaptive Ball Field

RSVP Required:  A sign-up sheet will be posted Monday through Wednesday during the camp.
