Warm Water Therapy Pool
In 1985, Capper Foundation was gifted a donation to build a warm water therapy pool. At that time, it was a new, innovative, and motivational way for children with disabilities to play and work on therapy goals while experiencing decreased tightness in their muscles allowing them to develop increased mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
Today, in addition to pediatric therapy, the pool is open for Family Swim on Wednesday afternoons (4:00 - 5:30 p.m.) for any individual with a disability and their immediate family members. Rental is available to private individuals or small groups for therapeutic use. The pool is not available to rent for birthday parties etc.
An adult must be present at all times to supervise children under the age of 18 years old. All participants are required to sign a Waiver of Liability. Capper Foundation reserves the right to suspend pool privileges for any participant not following pool rules.
