Matching Gifts
Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to a nonprofit organization like Capper Foundation. When an employee makes a donation, they can request the matching gift from their employer, who then makes their own donation.
Every company has a different program guidelines including matching gift ratio, minimum & maximum amounts and submission deadlines. Contact your company's representative to learn more information. For questions related to Capper Foundation, contact Edie Smith, VP of Development & Marketing, by phone at 785-272-4060 or by email.
A matching gift can make at least twice the impact as we strive to help individuals with disabilities build their abilities. Based on a 1:1 ratio, here's what the impact would be for infants, children and teens receiving pediatric therapy (This is based on about $70 per hour not reimbursed of the average $160 hourly cost.)
Your Gift = Hour(s) of Pediatric Therapy $100 provides approx. 1 hour $250 provides approx. 2.5 hours $500 provides approx. 5 hours $1,000 provides approx. 10 hours $1,500 provides approx. 15 hours $2,500 provides approx. 25 hours $5,000 provides approx. 50 hours |
